The Beginning

A Legacy of Excellence
Since 1971

Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Tezpur, was established in 1971 by the Salesians of Don Bosco. What began as a humble initiative to provide quality education to the youth of Sonitpur district has now blossomed into a premier educational institution in Assam.

Founded on the educational philosophy of St. John Bosco, the school was built with a vision to nurture young minds through the Preventive System—an approach rooted in Reason, Religion, and Loving Kindness. Over the decades, the institution has remained steadfast in its commitment to molding students who are not only academically proficient but also morally upright and socially responsible.

Recognized as a Catholic Minority Institution, Don Bosco Tezpur welcomes students from all backgrounds, fostering an environment of inclusivity, discipline, and holistic growth.
